What is Arduino

Arduino

Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs from input devices like sensor, button, remote etc and turn it into an output – for example turning on a LED, staring a Motor, control home appliances etc. Arduino can help us to automate any small to device that can be automated. To do so you use the Arduino programming language (based on Wiring), and the Arduino Software (IDE), based on Processing.

Arduino boards are designed as easy tool for fast prototyping and for the maker with no prior background in electronics and programming. There are different types of Arduino boards are available for different purposes.

All Arduino boards are completely open-source, empowering users to build them independently and eventually adapt them to their particular needs. The software, too, is open-source, and it is growing through the contributions of users worldwide.
